California Wines Spring Promotion in Japan: April & May
The California Wine Institute proudly hosted its 29th annual California Wines Spring Promotion, running from April 1st to May 31st, 2023. This year, we were delighted to welcome the participation of 130 accounts, comprising 94 restaurants and 36 retailers, during this two-month Spring Promotion in Japan.
Our annual trade promotion yielded remarkable results, with one online retailer achieving outstanding sales of California wine, totaling over 117 million yen (approximately $811,000), and selling nearly 36,000 bottles.
Additionally, consumers enthusiastically engaged with our Instagram campaign, sharing photos of themselves savoring a glass of California wine, further fostering the love for these fine wines.
