  • Sweden: Stockholm Food & Wine Show

    Application Deadline: October 31, 2026 California Wines will host a Wine Bar at the Stockholm Food & Wine Show. Wineries are encouraged to work with their Swedish importers to participate.     Buyer & Trade Programs

    The USDA Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is organizing a trade mission to Vietnam, November 9–12, 2026. California wineries interested in participating can visit the official FAS event page for program details and participation information.

  • Denmark: Cool Climate Masterclasses

    Application Deadline: October 20, 2026 California Wines will present a series of masterclasses at hospitality schools in Silkeborg, Odense, Aarhus and Copenhagen. The first masterclass will take place on November 17. Wineries interested in providing wines for the masterclasses are invited to participate. Mexico – Capstone California Level 3

California Wines is seeking wines from specific AVAs to support the launch of Capstone California Level 3 in Mexico and provide teaching wines for trade professionals who have completed Levels 1 and 2.

Participation Criteria:

  • Wines from Lake County, San Benito County, Solano County, Santa Clara Valley, Amador County, El Dorado, San Joaquin Valley, Sacramento Valley or Madera County
  • Wines must already be distributed in Mexico
  • Two bottles per label

UK, Ireland & India – Kickstarter Campaign

The California Wines Kickstarter Campaign provides funding to support importer activities that promote the sale of California wines. The program is now entering its sixth year.

Participation Details:

  • Available to importers of California wines
  • Funding supports activities designed to promote California wine sales
  • Wineries are encouraged to contact their importers about participating
  • Programs are currently available in the UK, Ireland and India
