United Kingdom Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards Country Report 2022
Following the UK’s departure from the European Union (EU), Great Britain (GB) is now outside of the EU single market and customs union, while Northern Ireland (NI) remains within the EU single market and customs union. Currently, rules in GB closely mirror EU law. However, it is important for traders to double check requirements, particularly for products that may require health certificates. This report gives links to UK competent authorities for information regarding the import of animal products, plant products, forestry products, fishery products and general food products.
