California Wine Day in Seoul

California Wines celebrated California Wine Day on September 9, 2026, with a special event along Seoul’s Han River, attracting approximately 250 consumers, media representatives and influencers, including U.S. Ambassador Michelle Steel.

Organized in partnership with Visit California and the U.S. Embassy, the event showcased California wine, food and tourism while commemorating America’s 250th anniversary. Sixteen importers presented approximately 100 wines across six regional tasting stations, supported by California Wines Sommelier Ambassadors. California-inspired food pairings and tourism experiences further highlighted the state’s diverse offerings.

The event successfully strengthened awareness of California wines in South Korea, bringing together key industry partners and consumers through an engaging celebration of California’s wine, food and lifestyle.
