California Toasts Success in France

Vinexpo Paris 2024 welcomed over 41,000 trade professionals, representing diverse wine regions worldwide – an increase of 14% from the previous year. Among the highlights were the participation of 70 California wineries and brands, two fully booked seminars, and an exclusive vintage tasting that was expertly led by the esteemed Konstantin Baum MW. In addition, the French Sommelier Association used the California Barn to announce the semi-finalists of their prestigious annual sommelier competition. Collaborating with Visit California, California Wines further elevated the experience with an exclusive media dinner and tasting at the Golden Poppy restaurant, showcasing the culinary mastery of San Francisco-based, three-Michelin-star Chef Dominique Crenn.
