Poland Exporter Guide 2025
Poland is the largest market for food and beverage products in Central and Eastern Europe and, with a population of 38 million, represents a growing opportunity for U.S. food and agricultural exports. The Russia-Ukraine war, which began in February 2022, disrupted trade and contributed to significant increases in energy, fuel, and food prices—challenges that continued to impact Poland’s economy throughout 2024. That year, Poland’s total imports of food, agricultural, and related products exceeded $42 billion, with imports from the United States totaling $730 million. Beyond soybeans, U.S. products with strong sales potential include distilled spirits, wine, tree nuts, fish and seafood, beef, dried fruit, condiments, and innovative food ingredients.
