This report outlines specific requirements for food and agricultural products that will be imported into Turkey. It was prepared by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service in Turkey for U.S. exporters of food and agricultural products. It should be read in conjunction with the Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards FAIRS Certificate Report. There have not been any major changes in food import regulations in Turkey in the last year. However, the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and
Forestry to regulate health claims related to food and food supplements has been transferred to the Ministry of Health.
