The Wine Institute Japan office conducted California Wine Grand Tastings in three major cities the week commencing October 27th. 29 Japanese importers and 9 vintners offered samples (over 500 different SKUs) to the buyers. In addition to the trade tasting, a Sonoma County wine seminar was conducted by Nick Frey, President of the Sonoma County Winegrape Commission.

ProWein 2007

Düsseldorf, March 18th to 20th, 2007

The 14th annual exhibition of ProWein, held at the Duesseldorfer Messe fair ground concluded March 20th. 32,000 trade visitors from 43 countries convened to sample established products, investigate novelties and discover new trends.

Six companies representing 20 California wine brands presented their wines at Vinitaly, the annual trade show held in Verona, visited by 160,000 people. Many found their way to the California pavilion and wanted to sample our wines. Wineries' objectives were to find international distributors.
